This young woman has really lovely hair! She has it down, brushed smoothly on her shoulder as though she\'s proud of it. Her bangs are curled tightly. She wears a dress with a separate white lace collar.
Unfortunately, there is no ID.
Beneath image,flanking the photographer\'s monogram, is printed:\"Wilson\" \"389 State St. Chicago.\"Fading to image. Soiling to image and card. Foxing (brown spotting) to photo, including a bit on sitter\'s face.Card measures about 6.5 x 4.25 inches. Photo measures 5.5 x 3.875 inches. Photo vignette measures 3.25 x 3 inches.
My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn\'t able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it\'s a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process.
