This antique postcard features a stunning illustration of cavalry army soldiers standing on horses. The tinted halftone card, manufactured in Germany between 1905 and 1914, bears the IPC&N Co. monogram with series-card#170-12 inscription on the front. It is an original piece of social history, depicting soldier training drills, cavalry corps and regiments, uniforms, and patriotic events with their horses.The postcard is a standard size of 5.5 x 3.5 inches, printed on cardstock with a divided back. It is unposted and in very good condition and has a personal message on the back making it a valuable addition to any collection of militaria or golden age postcards.
