Description

Story by Manning Lee Stokes. Art by Charles Raab. Packaged like a paperback rather than a comic book, St. John\'s follow-up to It Rhymes with Lust (1950) is considered one of the first examples of what is now called the graphic novel. Private eye Steve Bullitt is hired to find the rare, mysterious statue of the Winking Buddha. The trail of the Buddha leads to murder, and a series of suspects, including Lola Vance, Lu Yin and Solomon Slade. 6-in. x 8-in., 128 pages, B&W.
