Up for sale today is this Inyo National Forest sign, as seen in California and Nevada. Made to the exact US Forest Service standards as used starting in the 1960s or so. This particular National Forest is in the Sierra Nevada mountains and to their east, and includes both Mount Whitney and Mono Lake. Please note that I can make this sign for any of our National Forests, from Allegheny to Willamette, or anything else you\'d like for the sign to say.

An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; they are about six or eight feet wide. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble... or a hernia. This sign has been rescaled to a much more convenient 30 by 20 inches, and weighs about 13 lb. 13 oz.. If you would like a different size sign, please inquire.

This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!

We have begun adding a watermark because we have had problems with other companies copying our artwork to make lesser-quality imitations.
