Made to the exact standards as used between 1934 and 1940 along this historic highway.Highway 5 is Skyline Boulevard in the San Francisco Bay Area, a scenic route at the top of the coastal mountain range. When interstate 5 was signed, this route needed a new number, so it was renumbered to 35. An original of these, complete with the diamond logo of the California State Automobile Association would cost many thousands of dollars if it ever came to the market. The sign is heavy gauge steel, made to the highest standards of quality. 15 1/4 by 17 inches, and weighs four pounds and two ounces.
