Up for sale today is this California US 66 route sign. Made to the exact standards as used between 1956 and 1957 along this famous road. this is a non-reflective variant as specified for city use, or other locations with good street illumination.

Route 66 needs no introduction—it's been the historic Mother Road, from John Steinbeck to Bobby Troup, and has arguably become even more famous since its formal decommissioning between 1964 and 1985. 66 has become the ultimate lost highway, the road trip that everyone takes...
