Hard to find rare 110+ year old postcard of Connecticut Governor George Lilley. Held office from Jan 5 1909 to April 21 1909, he died in office. H.M.J. sent this card to Mr. H. D. Judd in Southington Conn. April 27 1909 Waterbury postmark with stamp intact. Born in Oxford MA. A Republican. NOT a common card. Postmarked 6 days after his death. AVG or better shape, note three hairline creases and avg border wear. A rare find!
