Here we have a wonderful round cast iron GRIDDLE or COMAL made for THE CRACKER BARRELOld County Store.
It measures approx. 10-3/4" in top diameter (add 5" for the handle) x 9-1/2" in base diameter x 7/8" side high.
It in good maintained (used) shape with no chips or cracks, although it has not been cleaned since acquired and is being offered in "as found" condition. Currently it shows cook/heat marks on the interior surface and on the sides. A clean, re-season, then good to go. Interior surface is smooth to the touch...despite the cook marks.
The bottom is marked, "ORIGINAL ~ Cracker Barrel ® ~ Old Country Store ~ CAST IRON." This cast iron Griddle/Comal heats evenly, retains the heat, and with consistent care it will last a lifetime. Came from a private home collection of recent years, however the exact age is unknown. This item weighs approx. 4-3/4 lbs., add 2-1/4 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
