An original lithographic poster for the country bear jamboree attraction. A few variants of this poster exist with different wording at the bottom, depending on when the poster was produced. When the Attraction opened at Walt Disney World, in 1971 their first version of the poster simply read FRONTIERLAND. In the accompanied photograph, you can see WED Imagineer Eddie Martinez, working on the very first version of this country bear jamboree poster for Walt Disney World’s opening .the following year, the attraction opened at Disneyland and the poster was designed in severalSections and read DISNEYLAND AND WALT DISNEY WORLD so they could be used for both parks. An additional variant exclusive to Disneyland read BEAR COUNTRY to advise advertise for the newly created area of Disneyland, and was only used for a short time. This version designed by Jim Michelson Marc Davis an Eddie Martinez, was used at both Disneyland and Walt, Disney World . This item measures approximately 54“ x 37“ and is in excellent condition, with some minor edge creasing near the white border. the item has never been displayed and remains untrimmed and ships rolled.
