This item is a complete set of 50 standard size Original Cigarette Cards issued by the John Player Tobacco Co. in 1932 on the subject of Wild Birds. The cards are actually \'Transfers\' which is why the printing on the front is back to front and can still be used as such if required. Some of the Wild Birds pictured are as follows:- Blackbird & Young, Bullfinch & Young, Carrion Crow, Cuckoo & Young, The Dipper, Great Crested Grebe, Jay & Young, Kestrel, Kingfisher, Linnet & Young, Magpie, Merlin & Young, Nightingale, Barn Owl, Little Owl, Puffins, The Robin, Sandpiper & Eggs, Sparrow Hawk & Young, Mute Swan at Her Nest, Song Thrush at Her Nest, The Grey Wagtail, Reed Warbler & Young, Whinchats, The Green Woodpecker, Yellow Hammer & Young and many others.
