Uncommonly early inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 1.5 x 2.75-inch tan card, acquired in-person by a busy New York City-based autograph hound in the 1940s and later affixed to a larger card and decorated with an image of the star as Charlie Chan. In good condition, with light toning. Roland Winters played Chinese gumshoe Charlie Chan in six films in the late 1940s, following the death of Sidney Toler.
