This hand painted and decorated trinket box is from the fine craftsmanship of Castel Limoges, France and is a true vintage treasure from 1940’s.
The porcelain is a dark blue and features a romantic courting couple scene in the style of Louis XVI, surrounded by 22K gold lacing.
It was crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail a double metal gold tone band surrounds the opening and there is a metal gold tone flower to
lift to open, there are gold delicate flowers alternating on the outside of the box.
The box is perfect for storing small trinkets, jewelry, rings or other cherished items.
The measurement of the box diameter is 2’’ X 1 1/4’’ in height.
