Up for your consideration is this lovely ANTIQUE CARL THIEME POTSCHAPPEL DRESDEN PEDESTAL HAND PAINTED PEDESTAL URN WITH RAMS HEAD HANDLES. IT IS WHITE AND GILDED. IT HAS BEAUTIFUL FLORAL GARLANDS FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS IN GILDED BASKET AND ROSE MEDALLIONS. VERY EXQUISITE DETAIL.

“SP DRESDEN” BLUE MARK OF CARL THIEME POTSCHAPPEL, used AFTER 1902.

Please let me know if you have any information to add. I am not an expert on China or porcelain. My research on this mark tells me that it was his mark and used after 1902.

Cartouche reads in blue:

Dresden

It measures approximately:

H: 10 1/4”

L: 8 “

D: 5”

There are signs of age as expected with the age of item. Overall, I feel it is in great condition.

Sadly, Dresden was destroyed in WW11.
