This antique inkwell is a stunning piece of history. The custard glass and art deco design make it a beautiful addition to any collection. The well is made of custard glass (fluorescent in UV light from Uranium Oxide) and has its original pen mount, making it perfect for use or display. The vintage inkwell is sure to intrigue anyone who sees it and is a must-have for collectors of glass inkwells.
Ink well is in excellent condition with no damage to the piece. The inkwell has its pen holder too, which is seldom found on these pieces. The gasket was changed at some point and did leak a bit of glue on the porcelain inside the top of the well (see pictures), but there is no other cosmetic damage to the piece.
