A nice size mounted photograph ofMasterson\'s Bakery and C. D. Houck Druggist storefronts and principals. We date the photo to circa 1912. Image: 5 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches, Mount: 8 x 12 inches. A lithograph photo on page 35 of the 1965 softcover book, A History Of Early Shirley And Surrounding Communities, published by Shirley Diamond Jubilee, Inc., provides a look at the two storefronts as they appeared in an image titled \"Early Flooded Street Scene\". The authors of the book estimated the date of the picture to be around 1912 or so. A group of eight men are shown standing in front of the businesses, two in baker\'s uniforms. We believe that one of the two men in uniform is Mr. Masterson, the bakery\'s owner, and one of the five men standing in front of the drug store is druggist C.D. Houck. Please note that the soft cover book mentioned above is being used as a reference and is not part of this listing. Please review the preceding condition description box and photo gallery.
