FEATURED IS A VINTAGE 1901 POSTCARD DEPICTING QUEEN VICTORIA AS SHE APPEARED UPON HER ASCENSION TO THE BRITISH THRONE AT THE TENDER AGE OF 18. THE WORLD MAP OVER WHICH HER PORTRAIT IMAGE IS SUPERIMPOSED IS INDICATIVE OF THE VASTNESS OF THE EMPIRE OVER WHICH SHE WOULD AND DID RULE. MOST POSTCARDS OF VICTORIA DURING HER LATE REIGN (POSTCARDS FIRST APPEARED ON THE SCENE IN ENGLAND IN 1870 ... IT WOULD BE ANOTHER FEW YEARS BEFORE PICTURES AND/OR COLOR WOULD APPEAR) & AT THE TIME OF DEATH SHOWED HER AS SHE LOOKED AT THAT TIME ... UNLIKE THE IMAGE SHOWN HERE. I AM QUITE CERTAIN AS TO THE DATE BECAUSE IT COST A HALF-PENNY TO SEND A POSTCARD IN/FROM BRITAIN AROUND THE TIME OF THE QUEEN'S PASSING AND EDWARD ASCENDING TO THE THRONE.

As to our "standard operating procedures": Our normal shipping & handling time is three (3) days. We ship weekdays with the exception of US federal holidays. We will ship with either free shipping or calculated shipping ... it depends on the given scenario. Often, calculated shipping will include insurance - again, depending on the item. Payment is expected at time of purchase or close of sale, whichever is applicable. This also applies to "best offer accepted" transactions.
