Beautiful antique hand colored porcelain and metal oval tray. I believe it to be by Max Dannhorn even though it is not marked as such. It does, however, have some of the incised numbers he used. I have also seen similar pattern by him.From the early 1900\'s+ this tray is in very good clean condition. I have cleaned the metal and porcelain because I will not sell something dirty. You might want to give the metal rim a tad more polishing than my old arthritic hands can do these days.
There is a wonderful old-world charm to this tray. It measures approximately 16 1/4\" from handle to handlelong and 11\"wide. The tray without the handles is about 14 1/4\" in length. There are no cracks, chips, etc. There is a very, very slight bend in the metal as you can see in the picture, and I only call out for full disclosure. There may be some usage marks on the porcelain, nothing that affects it and only seen if you look for them. Remember, this piece is well over 100 years old.The original owner has a wire on the back because she had it hanging in the kitchen. That can be removed, or you can use it.
