Circa 1880s stereoview of a dog. Produced by Schreiber and Sons in Philadelphia for their "Animal Studies from Nature" series. 3-3/8" x 7".

In good condition, with superficial rubbing and wear to board, primarily along edges and corners. Pencil remnants and some scuffing to rear. Images remain in good condition and easy to view. General age-related toning to board, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

A scarce dog stereoview by Screiber and Sons. Founded in 1860 by Henry Screiber, they were one of the most prominent photographers of animals in the mid-late 19th century, especially of dogs and horses.
