Fabulous, rare, very ornate Burleigh Ware pottery jug or pitchermade by Burgess and Leigh of Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries, Englandcreated during the Art Deco period, circa 1930sThe unusual choice of colors are predominantly yellow with green leaves and red and blue flowers.The interior is green gradually changing to yellow.The sculpted handle is presented as a flower chain of Blue with yellow middle flowers.The raised design includes flowers, garden steps and rocks.The jug is marked to the base with the beehive printed mark for Burleigh ware est 1851, together with a pattern number 5125 in black ink.The condition is exceptionally good!The jug measures:7 inches tall3.25 inches opening6 inches in the widest part
