This vintage Brush McCoy Pottery cookie jar features Elsie the Cow with a winking cat on her back. This item was damaged in shipping the cats head was broken off. It has been reattached and repainted with matching paint. The damage does not distract from the piece and it is very difficult to see the repair, but the repair can be felt by touch. The jar is made of ceramic and porcelain, and has a fitted lid. It is in excellent shape and has been well-preserved, making it a great addition to any collection. The medium-sized jar measures 11" in length, 8" in width, and 9" in height, with a capacity of 32 oz. It is an original, licensed from the 1940s-1950s and was handmade in the United States. The jar is perfect for storing cookies or other kitchen items, and its unique animal shape and solid pattern make it a stylish and functional piece.
