This vintage pair of patinated bronze Art Deco bookends date from the early 20th century. The sculptor, Isidore Konti, has masterfully created two identical partially nude muscular young men dressed only in a loin cloth. Each of these is mounted on its own solid bronze platform, standing in a semi crouched position, head down & arms extended forward. Each base is signed by the artist. Condition is excellent!
