Highway 99 is the connector to US Highway 99 in Washington State (now numbered to interstate 5) and is a major route in Vancouver and travels to many places further north, such as Surrey, Delta, and Richmond. this sign is made to the exact 1960 standard that was the first sign with a colored provincial emblem, but with the black border and numerals before they switched to blue in the 1970s.The sign is 11 1/4 x 13 inches and weighs a solid 3 pounds, 6 ounces, as it is constructed out of durable, heavy steel, for an appearance that is nearly indistinguishable from the old porcelain signs that were originally used back in the day.
