This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

Description

Stories and art by Bob Kanigher and Louis Ferstadt. One of the stranger superheroes, Greek deity Antaeus - who can bounce whenever hurled to the ground - appears when summoned by his modern-day descendant, a neurotic artist. The Bouncer has the distinction of being the first character created by comics legend Robert Kanigher - as well as appearing in both Scott Shaw!\'s Oddball Comics and The League of Regrettable Superheroes. The Bouncer protects two kids from gangsters who want the tin can eaten by their pet goat, Alonzo; Boxer One Round Hogan has misadventures in Mexico; Rocket Kelly and his team manage to escape the Japanese military, but their captive, the jungle queen Manta, causes trouble.
