This is a Bordallo Pinheiro Portugal pitcher and bowl set that is highly collectible and features iconic kitschy shabby chic style. The set includes a 72-ounce pitcher and a 52-ounce bowl, both in the shape of cabbage leaves referred to by collectors as cabbage ware and adorned with glossy majolica finish. The set is original and in very good condition, the color is rich & vibrant & there are no cracks but there is a chip on the edge of the bowl that is ‘repaired’ with marker.There is also crazing ( please see photos).

The pitcher stands at 9 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/4 inches wide (with handle), while the bowl measures 11 1/2 inches wide and 3 3/8 inches tall. The set is made of earthenware and was manufactured in Portugal and the year of manufacture is difficult to pinpoint as this pattern was produced from 1884 through the 1990s. It is perfect for all occasions and can be used as a vintage/antique decorative piece or for serving beverages and food. Thanks for looking !!
