Beautiful Vintage Lion of Lucerne Bronze Chalk ware Bookends made in1974 made in the USA by JARU.
The Bookends are marked \"Helvetiorum Fidelac Virtute\" - which translatesas \"Loyalty and Bravery of the Swiss.\"
The Lion of Lucerne Bronze Chalk ware Bookends are6\" Tall x 7 3/4\" Long x 3\" Deep and are signed JARU 135-74.
The Bookends are VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION and is free ofcracks and repairs. The pieces do have some very tiny bits of glaze missing at thebase due to the age and use of the pieces. Please see photos provided.
