Welcome (back) to the wonderful world of Lilliput Lane miniatures collecting. Lovely replicas or fantasies on real British cottages and historic buildings. They aren’t making them anymore and they are delicate, so collect now.
Modelled on the famous Black Beare Inn in Sanbach in Cheshire, this is a pub in the old style. One end decked in flowering wisteria with Tudor style walls and leaded windows this is from a bygone age. Around the side a horse drawn brewery cart has just made a delivery and the driver is taking the barrels into the basement at the front of the building. A nice detail, there is a bottle shape on the end chimney. Lovely detail.
