Unusual Bitossi Lion

Measures 9” tall by 7” by 6” respectively

Finished in Excavation Glaze

This is a tricky finish it’s not ever perfect.

The pallet of the lion has a fire cleft and isn’t perfect. Factory blemishes.

Only a few examples of this early mold are in existence so not much information about the form.

Designed by Aldo Londi in early mid century red clay.
