This is a quality bargain lot of twenty (20) knife making handle scales ten sets of two. The minimum size is 3/8\" thick x 1 1/2\" wide x 5\" long.
The knife shown in the pictures is just to give you an idea of how they look and is not actually included. I didn\'t spend a lot of time putting a super fine finish on them and they look pretty good. I\'m sure you can do better.
These were cut from cherry that was recovered at a construction site. They were throwing out some beautiful Cherry boards and I couldn\'t let them go to the dump. These would be perfect for a matching set of steak knives, for instance. Cherry has that mid-century look that just makes me think of a 32 oz. porterhouse in some old school steak house.
They can also be used for hunting knives, pocket knives, fishing knives, etc...
Cherry wood is known for its attractive grain and warm color, making it a popular choice for knife and tool handles.
The pictures are representative, as there are too many to photograph individually. There is some figure in there, but mostly they are plain sawn but still classically elegant. They are priced to move.
