I have one beautiful John Beswick English Setter figurine named CH. Balydone Baronet. This piece was one of the Champion Dog Series designed by Arthur Gredington. In production from 1942 to 1960, this elegant English Setter by Beswick England is in impeccable condition. Not a scratch, chip, nick, repair, or crazing. The glaze is gorgeous and the hand painting is exceptional.

What this Beswick England English Setter does have, which makes it extremely rare and unique, is a wrong mark. The mark on the underside of this English Setter figurine should be \"CH. Blaydone Baronet.\" It\'s not. The mark is that of \"CH. Talavera Romulus\", the Wired Haired Terrier who was also part of the Champion Dog Series. A total and complete mis-marked Beswick Porcelain Figurine. Now, this is truly a phenomenal rare find!

CH. Balydone Baronet is a handsome English Setter. Especially his coloring and the regal look and stance. Definitely will not be mistaken for a Wired Haired Terrier!
