Bernardaudis a French family business that manufactures Limoges porcelain since 1863. Thecompany is chaired by Michel Bernardaud, fourth generation of the Bernardaudfamily. Their headquarters are still at Limoges – France.

TheLithophane (VotivelightTM) is a traditional engraving technique on a finebisque (non-glazed) porcelain that was invented in Limoges in 1828. Bernardaudstill use it to craft beautiful votives that come in a wide variety of decor.The glow of the candle shines through the raised and carved surface of thevotive, contrasting light against shadow and thus revealing its richly detaileddesign.
