This is a new knife, which I purchased directly from a major retailer of Benchmade knives. I have never used it in any fashion.

Note that even though the proper paperwork is inside the box, there is no axis tab under the clip, as is usual with new Benchmade knives. The box had been opened by the retailer. As I was in a rush, I confirmed the correct box and model were displayed. d WhenI I retunred home I noted open seal and lack of axis tab. I returned to the store and they had lost the tab and had opened many various boxes.. They called their corporate office and no more were to be sent to that location.

I had intended to keep the knife, so went ahead and kept the knife. There is a warranty on the knife, so if you need any assistance with it, please advise and I will do my best to help.
