This is a remarkable antique embroidered silk holder for silk embroidery floss. I think that’s called a feather stitch that’s all around it. The little rectangle up in the corner I’m sure it was for needles

The silk piece measures 14 1/2“ x 10 inches and is in perfect condition, but for normal coloring on the underside from being so old.
