Beautiful Vintage All Sterling Silver Chalice w/Paten and Case, Enamels (CU514):

This is a beautiful antique vintage chalice as shown. It is all sterling silver. Made in France. Makers mark near base. The chalice has 6 blue enamel panels of Saints around the base. Ornate filigree work along the outer cup, node and base. The Latin text on the cup reads: + CALICEM SALUTARIS ECCIPIAM ET NOMIM INVOCABO + 6 stones set around the underside of the cup. Still with the original memorial inside the base dated 1898. The chalice stands 8 1/4\" ht, 4 3/4\" cup diameter, 6 7/8\" base diameter. Comes together with a sterling silver IHS disk paten. The paten diameter is 6 1/16\". Also included is a Scruple spoon. The set comes together in the original antique carrying case.
