Description: This beautiful rare 19th century French hand embroidered floral fabric has a silk oyster colored background fabric ,with tightly packed embroidered flowers of roses, tulips, daises and grapes with colors in orange, rust, indigo, light blue, violet , brown , pink, creme and green. Whoever embroidered this incredible fabric was a true artist! In my over 30 years of working with antique fabrics, this is truly a work of art! Wonderful for framing! See photos for reference. Measurement: 23 inches in width by 25 inches in length Condition: Very good- there are breaks (openings) in the fabric in various places - so definitely NOT for sewing- but to save and appreciate this rare beauty!
