30’s Neiman Marcus Never Used “Jeweled” Compact & Comb Set MIB Sold

This beautiful set comes fresh from an estate as a Neiman Marcus purchase made and stored away in the 1930’s. The compact’s size is 2” x 1 3/4” and features a beautiful hammered light colored gold tone lid decorated with a faux emerald flanked by perfect sparkling rhinestone flowers. The latch works perfectly. The interior features a hinged double chrome mirror that covers the rouge area. Unused cellophane covers the rouge cake and its along with its Duvell marked puff. The powder area has a marked gold tone cover over a perfect unused powder well. The unused puff is designed and marked like the rouge puff. The base of the compact has an etched striped design and shows no wear. The 4 1/2” x 1” tortoise shell colored comb is in perfect condition. It is permanently attached to its “jeweled” gold tone ornamental top. The faux jeweled design is identical to that on the compact.
