The seller purchased the bells in Hungary in 1988 while on a diplomatic assignment there for the United Nations. These beautiful bells were never used. They have been on display for the past 35 years. The bells have a similar floral design; and the larger bell displays a butterfly between the flowers. The first four photographs show the bells standing together. These four photographs were taken after rotating the bells 90 degrees to provide an all-around view of the bells from all angles. Gold painting can be seen around the base of each bell and around various parts of the bells including the upper rims and the bell handles. The 5th photograph shows the bells together lying on their sides to show the porcelain balls that hang from the inner tops to serve in the ringing of the bells. The last two photographs provide closeups of the official stamp of Hollohaza porcelain, which reads \"HOLLOHAZA HUNGARY 1831 HANDPAINTED\" including an official number of each piece of art. The larger bell measures 5.5 inches in height and 3.75 inches in diameter at the bottom. It weighs 8 oz. The smaller bell measures 3.25 inches in height and 2 inches in diameter at the bottom. It weighs 2.7 oz.
