A beautiful polished piece of Graveyard Point Plume Agate crystal.

This Agate has beautiful feathery plumes set in a clear golden coloured Quartz. It is named Graveyard Point for the place it is found. Graveyard Point is on the Idaho - Oregon border, USA. This is a popular Agate for jewellery making in the US but is rarely available in the crystal market in the UK.

There are many types of Plume Agate with a particular type often only being found in one small location. Plume Agate is formed in ancient hot springs and the plumes themselves are formed due to the action of microscopic organisms which collect silica and other dissolved particles in the silica rich water and deposit them in wild patterns in what later solidifies as stone.

The piece you see in the photographs is the one you will receive. The acrylic stand is not included.

These pieces are an ideal size to hold during meditation or to be used as pocket stones. Being flat they make great smoothing stones. Carry them in your bag or pocket or place them under your pillow.
