Here we have a very nice 1925 AMA Gypsy Tour watch fob. If you collect this material then you will know that the 1925 fob is one of the very toughest to find and especially hard to obtain at a reasonable price. I have been collecting this material for many years and I am not sure why but the 1925 shows up much more infrequently than the other years. There are two others listed on at this moment. One is listed with a starting offer of $800 and the other with a buy it now of $954. I never knock other sellers listings as everyone has their own opinion on what they think their merchandise is worth. I point them out to illustrate how highly they are regarded by other sellers. It can be very tough to price things when there is not readily available comparable sales data to use as a guide. If you search for a 1925 you will find the two I mentioned but I could not find a sold example here on for as far back as lists sold comps. Fob is in very nice antique condition and is maker marked "Childs Chicago" who made a great deal of high quality early motorcycle memorabilia. Please view close up photos and judge condition for yourself. I have many pieces in my collection that carry their maker mark.
