Please try on another device or contact the seller for assistance. ***Title:Batman & Outsiders / The OutsidersIssues:14-32, class=\"description\">This is roughly 35+ year-old lot of 36 issues of Batman and the Outsiders and later just The Outsiders, published by DC Comics between 1984 and 1988, primarily brought to you by Mike W. Barr and Jim Aparo. The original series consisted of 32 regular monthly issues, plus some annuals. The later series ran for 28 issues.

The actual issues included with this set are:
Batman and the Outsiders issues: 14, 20, 22-27, 29-32 plus Annuals 1 and 2 (see the lower area of the table-top photos)
The Outsiders issues: 1-13, 22-28 plus Annual 1 and Special 1 (see upper area)

These were extra copies I bought when they were first published, so for the most part, they were immediately stored away completely UNOPENED. As I handled them to lay them out on the table top, I could see that they had nicely weathered the three-and-a-half decades, in many cases still looking like they might have just been published last week! Very well preserved indeed.

As I handle the books one final time to prepare them for my final photo, I will note anything here that I feel warrants any special notice. As it turned out (and you\'ll see this as you read below), the vast majority of them turned out looking close to brand new!

Here are my real-time notes as I handle them for the final time...
First off, Batman and the Outsiders...
Issue 14 is not as well preserved and shows a touch of moisture at the bottom of the back cover.
Holy cow, just about all of the ones with Batman still look essentially brand new.
Ah, here\'s one -- B&O Annual 2 has a rough back left edge but is otherwise shiny flat and new-looking.

Moving onto The Outsiders now...
Wow -- I\'m telling you, these books could easily be mistaken for brand new books!
Just about all of them so far looks like it was just published! Good god!

Okay, issue 24\'s white background has faded, and on the back, there\'s signs that the edges were exposed to light -- they\'ve faded.
It does seem like the backgrounds of these last handful of books aren\'t as white as they probably were when brand new. They might have not been stored away immediately, even though otherwise, they still look new.
Annual 1 also has fading along its back edge, so not perfect there.

Bottom line: The vast majority of these books are indded NM, with only a handful showing any kind of wear at all. I\'m marking them officially VF/NM, which I think is more than conservative -- these are great copies!

Not only that, but you\'re getting 35+ year old books at way less each than what you\'d pay for brand new comics today, so take advantage of that deal before someone else swoops in and snags these!

Look at my response and you\'ll see \"item as described\" posted over and over again! I cannot believe other sellers expect you to make a purchase decision with just one or two photos -- ridiculous -- you always see what you\'re getting from me!
