Bakelite Vintage Tiny Handmade & Carved Butterscotch jar, Yardley Lavender Cream:

Had it for 20 years.

It is as we found it, in an artist’s box of catalin and Bakelite scraps.

It probably originally came as part of a set of Lavender toiletries from Yardley last century.

It was likely turned on a lathe inside, then hand-carved outside.

This is most likely Bakelite, from what I can discern, this amber color was a Bakelite standard.

So tiny and really quite old.
