Up for offer is a wonderful vintage Easter postcard. The artist has provided a beautiful lithographic illustration of a post-Victorian era girl and two bunnies hatching from a huge gold egg. Two boys are at each side of the egg as some cute chicks are perched atop of it. When you supersize image 1 you can better see the details. The printer made the egg from shiny gold. The colors are still vivid, and the artistry is really great. Printed in pre-WWI Germany, this beautifully embossed postcard with a gel surface has been posted, and has a 1913 cancellation across the one cent stamp on its divided back.What a truly wonderful card to use as decoration for the holidays, to give as a thoughtful gift, or to add to your Easter postcard collection. CONDITION: Expected light soiling with corner blunting. A bit of surface and edge wear. No stains. A semicircular deep crease at the upper-right corner with a tiny rip coming off it at the right edge. Clear image and vivid colors.
