The Lost Valley Scout Reservation. was purchased in 1959 and opened for summercamp in 1964. In 1972 Orange Empire Council and North Orange Council merged to re-form Orange County Council (OCC), California. Camp Borrego was renamed Camp Irvine. Camp Anza was renamed to Camp Grace in 1981. Recently, 2004, LVSR overall was renamed Schoepe Scout Reservation at Lost Valley. The Lake was named in honor of Virginia
Pictured is the Agua Caliente Lake (Lost Valley Lake). It was renamed in 2005 Lake Virginia in honor Virginia Schoepe. Currently the lake is in severe drought. So a picture of the lake with water is rare.
The postcard has the Costa Mesa address for OCC, so the postcard was made after 1986, but picture could be anytime.
