March Airforce Base is one of the oldest airfields starting in 1918.

California Inland Empire Council #45 (CIEC) was formed in 1972 from Arrowhead Area (Order of the Arrow Lodge Wisumahi #478) and Riverside County (Tahquitz #127) Councils. In 1974 Grayback Council (A-Tsa Lodge #380) merged into them. In 1992/93 they picked up a very small stake of Desert Trails Council (Pang Lodge #532). In 2006 they absorbed a large portion of Old Baldy Council, San Bernardino (Navajo Lodge #98). CIEC is currently served by Order of the Arrow Cahuilla Lodge #127.
