This vintage Boy Scouts of America gold tone eagle Fleur-de-lis badge pin with the motto Be Prepared has the rare vertical safety pin back without the locking bar. I don\'t know what year pins started being made with locking bars, but this is old enough to not have the locking bar. It is a safety pin style pin. (Most every pin that I have viewed have horizontal modern pin backs with the locking bars.)

This vintage BS of A gold tone eagle pin is approximately 1-1/8\" wide x 1-1/2\" long.

Good Vintage Condition with light wear that is consistent with use and age.
