BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA 50th ANNIVERSARY DAY ISSUE COVER ENVELOPE NORMAN ROCKWELL :

First day issue Boy Scouts of America envelope with stamps autographed by Norman Rockwell. The story of the autograph is my father worked at the GE factory in Pittsfield, MA. He had a friend who worked there was friends with Mr. Rockwell and he had three of these autographed. Another for my father and one for my brother.

I lived in Housatonic, MA and used to caddy at the Stockbridge County Club. Every once in a while the caddies had to line up and Mr. Rockwell would pick out a kid or two to be in his paintings.
