Please email with any questions. Box of four vintage 3\" diameter satin-finish glass ornaments. The pink and blue ornaments are striped and embellished with faceted \"jewels\" and glass glitter. The two white ornaments have an indented equator that is a contrasting color. The two white ornaments are also decorated with glass glitter. They were made in West Germany at the Lanissa factory that was established after WWII by Shiny Brite\'s founder Max Eckhardt as part of the US governments rebuilding of Germany. It was hoped that the glass ornament making industry could be revived. This box of four seems to date late 1960\'s into the early 1970\'s judging by the graphics and original price. The box lid shows some wear and scotch tape marks and retains the original retail price tag of $1.99 at Newberry\'s, a chain of stores similar to Woolworth\'s and Kresge\'s. The glass orbs have become somewhat cloudy- like an antique mirror and there is some slight chipping around the opening covered by the plastic caps and wire loops. The German glass glitter is darkened with age and some of it has fallen off over the years. These are very pretty ornaments that you will be proud to add to your collection.
