This 46-piece lot of vintage Beistle party hats have pretty stunning full-color wraparound graphics of stars, planets, and spaceships shooting lasers. The hats are pretty large in size and can be worn by both kids and adults. Their highly unusual swooping cutaway designs have a weird Deco-inspired Flash Gordon vibe and make an impressive visual statement. There are four designs, and each design has two hat shapes, for a total of eight distinct styles. There are 46 total, two of the styles have five pieces, the rest have six. These were printed in 1979. Most of the rubber bands have deteriorated or are missing altogether, and the staples that held them on are rusty. Some of the hats will need a bit of reshaping due to poor storage, but none of them are crushed or have any serious damage.
