Offered today, is this beautiful Seth Thomas ChimeNo. 60 produced in the year of 1936. Thefinish on the Mahogany case is in great original shape with minimal crazing (spider web lines) in the finish as the pictures willshow. Your clock shows some man made character marks that are hardly noticeable but worth mentioning (Please enlarge all pictures). If you look at the second last picture I took a photo of half of the clock cleaned, protecting the original finish and the other side dirty with a lot of paint specks. Amazing how beautiful this clock is from what it was. All the best features are on thismodel. Raised trim in the front of theclock outlining the shape along the top ending at each end with distinctivemoldings. Raised front panels ofcontrasting bird’s-eye maple. Original finish on the golden Bezel surrounding the original convex glass with no chips or scratches. The front bezel door and back dooropens and closes properly as it should. An original 51/8-inch original silvered dial is in great shape showing minimal wear at the 6 and 8 in the original harmonizing tint that surrounds the raised bronzedArabic numbers and fancy bronze serpentine hour and minute hands . A quarter hour only chime/silent feature is located between the numbers 4 and 5 and speed adjustment at the 12. Both are in full working order. The best sounding SETH THOMAS stamped westminster chime rods arein this model which you can see and hear each quarter hour followed by the fullWestminster chime and hour strike. The Westminster 124 movement has been completelyrebuilt by me for many years of trouble free service.All the original labels on the back door and the bottom of the case arein great condition. The originalpendulum bob and a proper sized ST stamped two sided key comes with the clock. Every aspect of this clock is fullyfunctional and in excellent condition.

What I do to ensure you are buying a quality clockfrom me.

Ø Disassemble the entire clock and movement myself completely.

Ø Install Seth Thomas parts on the movement as needed.

Ø Clean and lubricate the mainsprings for proper function of the movement.

Ø Rebush all worn pivot holes with high quality Bergeon bronze bushings.

Ø Clean the entire movement ultrasonically.

Ø Clean the original dial by hand.

Ø Clean bezel, parts and chime rods by hand.

Ø Clean the outside of the original finish by hand with mild cleaners aswell as the inside and apply a coat of wax by hand.

Ø Clean the finish instead of altering or distorting the finish. This does decrease the value of a clock.

Ø Reassemble the clock, oil and lube movement in the proper places.

Ø Adjust chime and strike hammer sequence properly to assure smooth andeven strikes at each quarter-hour and hour.

Ø Electronically regulate the beat and adjust the speed while the clock islevel to ensure accuracy for many generations.

Ø Inspect and adjust every minor detail of the clock assuring fullfunction and peak performance for many years to come.

Ø Test the clock for a minimum of two weeks to ensure peak and properperformance for the new owner.

Ø Smoke free, pet free home. Allclocks are cleaned removing odors.
