Arnex Industries Corp imported pocket watches and accessories from Europe during the 1970's. The company caught the fashion craze which led to three-piece suits. Pocket watches, chains, FOBs became must-wear accessories during that time.
Kidde &Company purchased Arnex Industries Corporation and renamed the company Arnex Time Corporation. They maintained most of the product lines but changed some. In particular, whenBöker began operations in Asia, Arnex subscribed to the the knifemaker's new offerings.
In an article from Knives & Tools Magazine entitled Böker 150 years:Böker Manufaktur is made in Solingen, Germany. Böker Plus is made outside of Germany. This means that a large part of the production process is carried out in China, but Böker Plus knives are also made in Italy, Spain and the United States.
If the knife does not have a tree emblem, it's made for third parties and in places outside of Solingen.
These remain Böker knifes only these were produced in Taiwan. They're quality knifes just less expensive. We bought a lot from an agent in New Jersey.
It's a stainless-steel knife and quite attractive. Importantly, it's new old stock found with other Arnex products when the company relocated to Florida. We also have three other motifs in our stock. They work well as a FOB anchoring a Dickens chain in a waist coast or vest.
