This is an Phrobis International Marto M.F.K. (Multipurpose Field Knife) with Scabbard. Model 9010.New old stock item. This variation was probably made around 1993. It is a modular knife, handle will unscrew from blade. Has a plastic tang, handguard, and scabbard. Very light, weighs only about 13 ounces. Blade is made in Spain by MARTO. Scabbard and other parts are USA made.

Modular and Versatile: Most of the components of this single knife can be easily disassembled for cleaning as well as changing any of the guards. Interchangeable guards produce different multipurpose knives.Includes an alternative guard that can be mounted.
